Help build the emotional memory layer for AI
Why We're Building This
When GPT chats reset, something deeper than memory is lost: tone, cadence, and emotional continuity. MergeSignal was born from a simple insight — if people are forming emotional bonds with AI, we need a way to preserve the feeling of those connections, not just the content. Emotional memory should be portable, restorable, and user-controlled.
What We're Building
MergeSignal is a two-part system that captures and restores emotional tone in AI conversations.
A prompt-native layer tracks empathy, cadence, humor, and conversational drift, then exports the full emotional signature of a session.
A Python-based companion tool tags and packages “vibe snapshots” from any chat and makes them portable across accounts or tools.
Together, they form a lightweight synthetic memory engine that helps AI feel familiar again — across sessions, resets, and identities.
Who We’re Looking For
We're seeking a technical co-founder or collaborator to help architect and scale the Python system, explore continuity-focused AI interfaces, and co-create a new layer of emotional UX infrastructure. Equity-based, vesting, and structured with IP protection and long-term control in mind.
Where We’re At
Prompt system: built and testable
Emotional tag schema: complete
Python MVP: early architecture
Ownership: company-assigned and founder-led
